Electronic tape measure – This thing is great for someone who doesn’t know how to read a regular tape measure!

high quality – Normally I don’t review products except when they exceed my expectations. This exceeded my expectations in accuracy, easy to read, and simple to use. The main purpose in buying this tape measure was to accurately measure inside dimensions. With a push of a button, an arrow on the top display indicates if it is reading from the front or the back of the case. (The case is exactly 3″ long) The display is plenty large enough to see easily. The is a great tape and excellent value in my opinion. (Shipping and packaging were up to standards expected.)

Awesome tape – I see a bunch of negative reviews but I have had nothing short of an amazing experience with this tape. My favorite feature is being able to switch how it reads from the front of the tape to the back of the tape so I can place it inside of a drawer box opening and measure from inside to side. No more bending my tape into a corner and hoping I’m close. It’s even more useful for measuring the back of a drawer box and you can’t see the tape at all. Reach in, place the tape at the bottom left, measure across to opposite side and press memory button. Gets a perfect width reading when you can’t even see the tape in the back of the drawer opening. This got wet once and my screen did appear like others where it looked like ink was spilled inside screen but it dried up and has continued to work flawlessly since. Remember that it’s an electronic object, meaning stupid things happen like they do with your Apple Watch or phone, etc. Every great once in awhile the unit doesn’t turn on (rare) but it happens. Just pull the battery door open and recluse it and bam it’s back on. I thought this would be an inaccurate gimmick and I wasn’t expecting much but I use it on every build I do after 2 years and can’t wait to buy the gen 2 version!

A MUST HAVE!!! – Ok, this tape measure has exceeded all my expectations. Seriously, how have I lived this long without it?!?! Yes, it really does provide an accurate digital readout of whatever it is you’re measuring. Perhaps the standout of the tape could be a little better at barely 5 feet, however, the blade is stronger than expected. The measurements on the blade are bold, easy to read with standard imperial numbers on the top of the tape and metric on the button – a feature that’s not always easy to find in a tape measure. I do wish they had included the long vertical feet marks every 12 inches on the tape itself – I didn’t realize I would miss this small feature as much as I do. However, I’ve found the digital options to be highly useful and accurate making up for what’s lacking. In addition to the two memory buttons, a hold feature (which they refer to as short term memory), centerline and re-zero options; you can view the measurements in a variety of formats: inches and feet with fractions, inches only no feet with fractions, inches only no feet with decimals, feet as decimals, and metric as decimals. The only two improvement suggestions I have for the developer is to add feet marks on the tape itself and make the blade lock on the front easier to disengage. Yes, the blade lock. It’s easy to set simply by pushing down with your thumb. However, to release it, you have to push in and up really hard on the outside ridges near the bottom, which means if you’re in the middle of measuring something, you have to put the measure down turn it around and use two hands just to release it. If the company were to somehow improve this feature where it would work with one hand and add the missing feet marks on the tape, this would seriously be a top contender for the perfect tape measure! But these are small things overall and certainly shouldn’t deter you from giving it a try. This has been a fantastic purchase and without a doubt a tape measure I will be gifting and recommending to many for years to come!

Pretty good – Perfectly accurate every time. But the body is made from what feels like shiny cheap plastic. I think that one good drop and this may shatter, so it’s not my daily driver :(. But fun to use for sure.

Yup, then nope – So it will take a second to get used to. most of us run the tape measure past the item so u can see where the item ends. With this I’m have to end it exactly at the end. I did two photos to show u can use the front or back of the tape measure to measure and it is darn accurate . Wish it lit up.
