Does the job – I honestly didn’t know what I was doing. That said, if you follow the instructions and put it around the whole window etc etc then it will do it’s job.

Precut so easy to install! – If you want to save $$ and stop those cold drafts from windows this is a must. They are precut( some trimming is necessary) which makes it so much easier than having a huge piece to work with. After using the hair dryer you could not see them at all. The kit comes with a large roll of double sided tape and I had some leftover even though I goofed on a couple of windows. Will buy again next year

Keeps draft out but, – Keeps draft out, but you need two sheets to go on front window,. The tape at first was hard to used,. But if you take your time you be ok,. Glad I brought the 9 pieces with extra tape

Great Price and Worth the Install Hassle – These take some time and focus to install no matter what brand you get. But I’ve consistently found this brand well worth the time for the energy savings. It’s not fun to install, so don’t do this at the end of your day or when you have no patience. Pay attention to the materials you should adhere it to and as long as you follow instructions you should be fine. I have some old/flaky paint that it does strip off but it does warn about this. There’s plenty of adhesive tape included though if you for some reason run out they do sell it separately. Overall the perfect kit for me and my home as one kit covers all windows and I save well over the $15 it costs on energy bills in the New England winters.

Just follow the directions and you can’t fail! 🙂 – I see some negative reviews slamming the product but either A: they did NOT prep the window/ frame and it was dusty, or B: the window is crap and the paint if peeling off of the frame and is damp/ or porous and not suitable for this type of thing. I had no trouble and I’ve never used anything like this before, EVER. I windexed my windows first and made sure they were free of dust, I applied the tape and let it sit for about 10-15 min before I applied the plastic sheeting, and I had no problems. Don’t get the hair dryer too close to the sheet and make sure you keep it on high and moving around, thats my only tip. IF some of your windows are ancient like my attic windows, and the paint is already chipping off, it will undoubtedly remove the paint in chunks and it will mess with the seal, so be cautious and make sure any loose paint is not on the surface before hand. Good luck, its dummy proof! 🙂
