Versatile set with strong magnets – This is a great kit! As a test I used the smaller pen sized magnet to pick up my keys and it handled that no problem with about 10 keys and a carabineer. I then used the larger magenta to pick up a 5lb dumbbell! Wow! Although I will use them to pick up a bolt or a dropped socket while working on engines, it’s nice to know I could handle something heavier. The lights and mirror are great too, very bright lights. The mag base bendable light will come in handy to pinpoint light in a tight spot and hands free. This will come in handy!

Something you never knew you needed! – I had to troubleshoot a leaking water heater and couldn’t find where the leak was. I ordered this a bit too late to help with that problem. Would have been so easy with the mirrors and light. Feels sturdy and has a great telescope length. Definitely recommend any handyman to get!

Sturdy, well-designed – and a thorough range of function. I was also pretty surprised by the fact that when compressed for storage, each tool is pretty small, but when telescoped out for use, they’re LONG!! Well over 30″ in some cases.

Automotive Indispensables – These can save hours in retrieving dropped bolts, locating hidden wiring harnesses and connectors, locating fluid leaks, and countless other frustrating tasks. What mechanic hadn’t dropped a bolt in the engine compartment and cringed when discovering that it didn’t make it through to the ground. Or perhaps you did drop something like a clip or ball bearing on the ground and can’t spot it in the debris. Simple blind sweeps with the magnet through the dirt can save a trip to the store. I’ve even retrieved things from the ugly depths of the shop vac. Sure, the magnet comes out of the dirt covered in ferrous particles, but compressed air will blow that stuff right off. I found the lighted mirror to be simply brilliant. Parts that are hidden from your view are probably also hidden from other light sources. Buy these before you need them and store them somewhere that you won’t forget you have them. You will thank me later.
