      I love this beautiful lamp – After reading all of the reviews I decided to take the plunge and buy this lamp on Prime Day and I was not disappointed. My lamp was a lovely shape, no weird markings, not a lot of sediment in the packaging and no weird humming noises. I have been using it almost daily for around 2 months and have received several compliments on it. I find the glow very relaxing and I use it for meditation and as a comforting glow at night. I’m really glad that I took the chance after reading some of the less favorable reviews. I will cherish it for years to come.

      Beautiful if you get a good one but haphazard manufacture + shipping – The first one arrived with almost no packing material between the outer box and the inner (retail) box. The bulb’s filament was broken and much worse, the best face of the salt block separate from the rest leaving a very rough surface behind. Unacceptable!

      Looks great – I was a little apprehensive when I ordered this because it is hard to tell how big it is and how sturdy it is. But I was pleasantly surprised. It feels like it is very sturdy. I’m not sure if the health benfits are really true with these salt lamps but it looks nice and is a nice accessory for our living room.

      If you like it… lick it. – I originally purchased the 1003 (11-14lbs) lamp from Home Depot, then decided I wanted a bigger one. I picked up the larger 1004 (15-20lbs.) here on Amazon.

      Four stars not five because it needs a higher wattage bulb – This is a very pretty piece of salt…deep orange and pink with a beautiful glow. It’s big! The weight is as advertised. Wish it was a little bit taller but is very pretty as is. The bulb base / light fixture seems to be well made and fits well in the wood base that holds the salt.

The lamp was just wrapped, the connection was hanging out, it was wrapped but not boxed correctly. I wanted to wrap it myself for a gift but I couldn’t do it the way it came out. I was glad that it didn’t get damaged in the process because it was just not protected correctly. I would recommend that you look somewhere else because it shows how careless they were with the packaging, it could have gotten broken so easily.
