surprisingly good – I didn’t think these would work. Period. It’s putty you put over your ear hole. I’ve now tired them and observe that when you put them in you can hear far more than you can when you use foam ones. Counterintuitive, but makes sense that the air gap has quite a different effect than the foam. For example if I have foam earplugs and my head is on the bed which is on the floor and someone shuts a door(also touches the floor) it is quite loud since sound travels through the solid touching surfaces which would include the foam earplug. However if I have these on, even though ambient sounds overall are louder, that same shutting of the door isn’t as loud I assume due to the air gap. Anyway. these work superior for certain types of sounds that maybe waking you even thought they do not seem to have an as high dB rating. Interesting. these actually really helped me with my issue. Worth a shot if you’re sleep deprived.

You just press these to the outside of the canal, and this brand is the only one I’ve found that stick well and stay on all night. Because you press them flat against your ear, they are also comfortable for sleeping.
