Exactly what I wanted, with one tiny issue! – This is very solid, and the slow closure mechanism works good,, but maybe a little too good. I would rather have a slow closing toilet seat, as opposed to one that slams closed, with a loud bang. This might even be adjustable, but it closes so slow, you might need to give it a little nudge, but still better than the alternative.

Sizing was ideal, fastener screws were not – I needed a newly shaped seat, as my previous seat wouldn’t accommodate my daughter’s potty trainer seat. This did so perfectly. I like the fact you can make adjustments to the positioning, which I had to do. The only difficulty I had was the fasteners, which had twist off caps and I think in theory it was clever, but it wasn’t practical. The cap wouldn’t fit one didn’t break off and kept spinning, while the other did, but wasn’t fastening snugly. I had to remove both, as the coverings would close without the cap snapping off. I ended up using the fasteners from the old seat, which fit perfectly and did the job. I would suggest the manufacturer keep it simple with the fastener or if you want to keep those screws, provide regular screws for fasteners as well.

It’s a toilet seat – It’s a toilet seat. It was easy to install and works well. The last one we had like this lasted for 3 years before the hinge broke. We’ll see how this one holds up. So far, so good.
