Picture Clarity does not last long – I bought this for my daughter who likes to leave her night light on through the night. It is unplugged during the day. The picture clarity is absolutely perfect on Night #1. Beginning on Night #2, there is a noticeable decrease in clarity which will continue to worsen over time. The sparkles fade, the brightness of the colors fade, the faces fade, etc until the pictures become hardy recognizable. We are on our second one now. My daughter loves princesses, so we did repurchase a second one because the price is good. I do recommend the product because of how cute it is, but don’t plan on using it for more than a few months.
