Great Cameras – I have quite a few Reolink cameras of varying model types. These include the indoor ones such as these, outdoor hardwired units and outdoor solar powered cameras. The Reolink app is great for monitoring all of the cameras from anywhere in the world. Unlike other providers, there is no fee for using the viewing service and (to my knowledge) no upper limit of cameras that you can view. I bought these cameras to replace Amazon cameras that were no longer supported and replaced with some that required a subscription.

So far, so good! – From what I can tell this far, it works pretty well. At least for what I intended to use it for. The sound quality leaves a little to be desired and the connection on the app when on cellular data doesn’t always connect, but I have only used it once or twice since I received it. Good camera for the price except… – Camera is a great deal. The only downfall is the motion detection. The camera in indoors facing a four that is rarely used I moved sensitivity down to the lowest setting and we still get false alarms. We get email alerts with video of the front door. A could of suggestions would be the addition of text notifications in addition to email. And maybe SmartThings integration?

Can’t Beat It For The Price – I already have several solar powered wifi Reolink cameras placed around the outside of my house. I am currently in the process of replacing those with Reolink PoE cameras for 24h recording. I purchased this pan/tilt indoor wifi camera to monitor entry ways from inside. The setup on this indoor wifi camera is pretty much identical to the solar powered wifi cams that Reolink has. The difference is this one plugs into mains current.

Good camera for simple video – This is a good camera for beginners and for that simple area you don’t need good detail for. I’ve had the E1 model for well over 5 months now and it works decently well. The motion sensors are sensitive and the night vision works really well. One issue I have this model is the processing built on it. I’ve noticed a good handful of times this device would have to reset itself when it’s overloaded. For example when I get a notification of motion on my phone I go to view it and the camera will tell me it’s offline while it’s still recording. If I try to force it to let me view what the live view shows then the camera resets or makes me wait for it to stop recording.

Good camera for simple video – This is a good camera for beginners and for that simple area you don’t need good detail for. I’ve had the E1 model for well over 5 months now and it works decently well. The motion sensors are sensitive and the night vision works really well. One issue I have this model is the processing built on it. I’ve noticed a good handful of times this device would have to reset itself when it’s overloaded. For example when I get a notification of motion on my phone I go to view it and the camera will tell me it’s offline while it’s still recording. If I try to force it to let me view what the live view shows then the camera resets or makes me wait for it to stop recording.
