Great value, nice light, definitely for twilight/nighttime use – This comes with some great preset lights on the remote, and has a bit of options for customization. It shines brightly in dimly lit rooms and really provides the advertised effects. Definitely for use in darker environments though, and anything more than 15ft it gets a bit diffuse.

So pretty! – Been wanting a sunset lamp for so long, and finally got my hands on one! They’re so pretty, it’s perfect to place in the corner of a room or use to take selfies with! Some of the colors are just a single solid color and some has multiple colors creating a gradient to it. You’ll need 2 triple A batteries and also a wall plug if you plan on plugging it to a wall.

Recommended by my therapist – My therapist recommended a sunset lamp as the days are getting shorter due to the winter and the lamp mimics a sunset. The lamp is not bright so you can barely see it on a sunny day but you can see the colors better on a cloudy day or at night time which is perfect because that’s when I usually turn in on. It definitely makes the space you use it in more interesting and you can change it to so many different colors. I would definitely buy this as a little gift to someone too!

If you use this with a ring light, the color is completely washed out so you have to use it in total darkness with this being the only light on. It also creates funky shadows if you move just slightly out of the sphere. The remote has to be directly infront of the LED parts for it to switch colors, meaning the model usually has to be the one making the switches and not the photographer, who would be on the opposite side. But all in all it’s pretty cool and makes for some good pics! Its definitely not as bright as the photos make it out to be, though.
