The material used for the body of the TUSHY bidet attachment is ABS plastic, and internal components contain, among other materials, POM, stainless steel, and vinyl. The valve is made with a combination of POM, fiberglass reinforced Nylon, brass and ceramic. All of these materials are specifically chosen for their strength and durability properties in plumbing applications.

Wish I had known about this years ago! – I didn’t realize you could buy a bidet add on to a toilet; I saw an ad online for another brand, and did my usual search on Amazon. I looked at other brands but decided the Tushy Warm Water Spa 3.0 was the best fit for me, although the price was higher.

Considerable improvement – The 3.0 version of the Tushy Spa is (so far) a considerable improvement over previous models. The first one I owned chronically leaked from the control box when turned on. I returned it under warranty and was sent another and after about a year it began to leak from the same place in the same manner. As I was out of warranty I just lived with it. When I saw that they had redesigned their product, I decided to give them one more go. So far the 3.0 is performing well with no leaks in sight. After several months, I may add a star to my overall rating if no leaks occur.

Temperature Control is too slow, but otherwise a great product – Installation was easy, it works pretty much as expected and everyone in the house loves it. I plan to eventually replace the main toilet with a nice bidet and move the Tushy to the half bath toilet. The things holding it back from being 5 star for me:

Easy as pie – Easy to install, tho it has to connect to the water line under the sink. a 3/8″ hole is suitable to fit the line through if you need to go through a cabinet.

Happy Valentines Bidet to my husband! – I ordered this as a valentines day gift for my husband this year and even installed it myself as part of the surprise! Yup, this is what romance looks like when you’ve been married for 18 years, haha. Nothing says ‘I love you’ like a clean butt! My hubby is the kind of guy who doesn’t want to poop anywhere but home, in part because he has trouble getting fully clean afterward no matter how much he wipes, and doesn’t want to be ‘guy that smells like poo’ or have skids in his underwear. It’s so difficult for him that he usually jumps in the shower immediately after taking a deuce to use the hand held wand to clean out his boonda. Now he doesn’t need the shower anymore! Well, almost.
