These suck! – (And that’s a good thing!) It took me two tries to get it to stick to my front door, but I think part of the problem was the door was cold and I didn’t push it on with enough force. After that it held the Christmas wreath with aplomb and hasn’t let up since! It’s been two weeks and the wreath is still sticking to the door despite 20-30 degree weather for the past several days.

These suck! – Put a few on my shower wall and they’re great little handy hooks! It’s important to know the physics behind the suction so you can apply them properly. You need a flat, clean, dry surface – and most importantly the surface needs to cover the base of the hook completely for good contact. For instance, I measured my subway tile to make sure it covered the diameter of the circle base (see specs) – if the base were in the least bit overlapped with grout lines, air gaps would prohibit a secure connection. This can be a general rule of thumb wherever you choose to use them.
